Hunter’s Bay Trail
ORchard Park, Huntsville
1.5 km In & Back (3km return)
This applies to the two extension sections over the water, but it’s the Trans Canada, so you can continue beyond in both directions.
Parking available in the little lot at the Lakeshore Road trailhead if you want to start at the beginning of the extension, or lots of points along the HV waterfront
You can bike it, which would also be pretty fun if your crew can handle the section with the open side (you could also ride the road to bypass it and hop back on the trail again). Fishing would also be fun if you’ve got your license
The open side part is also a swim dock in warmer temps and stays open in winter, but the longer section that runs under the highway is closed in the cold.
