You can park on the side of Old Portage Road
This is a great year-round trail. In winter and spring because you can grab a few lake views when the leaves aren’t fully out yet, and in summer and fall you can tree-bathe to your heart’s content.
It’s short, which makes it fantastic for littler kiddos
The drive here is also kind of fun, since it goes through Camp Shalom and past some pretty impressive granite walls.
