1578 North Muldrew Lake Road, Gravenhurst

2km In & Back (4km return)

  • Parking on the side of North Muldrew Lake Road

  • The marsh at the end is neat to walk through, and the little waterfall is cool, but the rock that the trail travels on is definitely the best part. It’s all well-marked.

  • This used to be a section of the colonization road that connected Gravenhurst & Bala

  • Just FYI, it’s a mixed-use trail because it’s basically crown land, so there are ATV tracks, but so far the riders seem to respect the space and stick to the trail

  • We don’t recommend this one in the spring - it’s really mucky and buggy in those months

  • You know the trolls in Frozen?? We suspect they were inspired by the glacial erratics on this trail. When conditions align with the trail skills of your Frozen-fan, take that kid for a hike and make up all of the magic you can.
