Lion’s Lookout & Camp Kitchen Trail Loop

The awesome views of Fairy Lake and the Town of Huntsville from the top of the lookout make the calf workout worth it if you walk up to the lookout, though in warm months you can choose to drive up and down the lookout and just walk the lower trail, making the route even shorter.
To do the lower trail, walk along the track that starts at the lookout gates and follow the path to the water, then back along the tracks to the parking lot - it makes sense when you walk it!
The historic Portage Flyer tracks and station are very fun to explore, plus there is a teeny public beach too
