Skeleton Lake Road 1, Raymond, ON

2km In & Back (4km return)

  • Park year-round on Skeleton Lake 2 Road (approx property #1182) or at the end of Skeleton Lake 1 Road in warm months.

  • It’s not a super popular trail, so you’ll likely have it to yourself.

  • It is a fantastic spot to snowshoe in the winter

  • If you explore in the warm seasons, you’ll still see evidence of its past as a historic corduroy road, though ATV use seems to be tearing a lot of that up (even though there are signs posted saying no motorized use)

  • There are some old hunt camps along the way, as well as some bit of cars. Some hikers may enjoy these oddities, but if that’s not your thing, this might not be the trail for you.
